Out and About
Bristol is packed with places to eat, drink and enjoy cultural experiences; but if it’s your first time in the area it can be hard to know where to start. That’s why we’ve teamed up with some of the City’s most loved establishments and, in some cases, managed to bring you some exclusive offers.

RWA Bristol
Welcome to the RWA – Bristol’s first art gallery. We are proud to bring world-class visual art from around the world to the South West and we have done so since 1844.
Our vision is to be be a place that welcomes, inspires and enriches the lives of all people from all communities and all backgrounds through Art and Creativity.
Exhibitions at the RWA always feature work by leading contemporary artists (including the RWA’s own Academicians) alongside great works from the past, often brought to the city and region for the first time, opening up new and surprising contexts and discussions.
Little French
A fully independent, family-owned restaurant located in our neighbourhood of Westbury Park. Littlefrench is designed to be a local fixture, open 7 days a week, offering lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday and lunch on Sunday, with a daily menu cooked by chef Freddy Bird and his team.
The informal approach continues into the evening when you can sit at the bar with a glass of wine and some simple bar snacks such as lamb chops with rosemary salt; oysters with shallot vinegar; or milk fed lamb kidneys with Dijon mustard.
Spike Island - International Centre of Contemporary Art
Spike Island supports, produces and presents contemporary art and culture across an 80,000 square foot former industrial building in Bristol. Its diverse artistic programme includes free major exhibitions, events and engagement activities taking place on-site and online. Championing outstanding work by emerging and underrepresented local, national and international artists, the program enhances access to contemporary art for audiences from all backgrounds.

Her Majesty's Secret Service
Tucked away in a secret location just off of Whiteladies Road, you can find this stylish, speakeasy cocktail bar open until late. Booking is recommended.
Bulrush
Chef/Proprietor George Livesey, originally from the Peak District; trained at the Academy of the Culinary Arts, where Albert Roux was his sponsoring chef. Before opening Bulrush, George worked in several notable restaurants including St. John Restaurant, Roux Fine Dining under Dan Cox, Club Gascon and White Rabbit in Dalston.
Bosco Pizzeria
Bosco is a neighbourhood pizzeria inspired by the best pizzerias of Naples and New York City.
A lot of inspiration was taken from what these guys were doing but the key for us was to develop a recipe that was our own. So together with a bunch of like-minded friends we set about creating our perfect pizza. It’s been a long process, we’ve tasted a lot of dough and eaten a lot of pizza, but we’re happy with the result. Although our intention was to serve just pizza we felt we couldn’t leave out the other amazing dishes we had tasted. So in the end our little pizzeria has become a collection of our favourite dishes from our travels around Italy.
The Spiny Lobster

At the Spiny Lobster they serve the freshest seafood in town. The restaurant is relaxed and the service informal, this is a place to sit and enjoy the freshest of seafood simply prepared and cooked to your liking.
A speciality is cooking fish over a charcoal fire which gives it a unique and delicious Mediterranean flavour. The fish is delivered daily from the port of Brixham on the South Devon coast where some of the best fish in the world is landed.
